We, Arabs are a very emotional nation and our media is much like the English tabloids, except the tabloids give a variety of useless news while our media has nothing but to whine and theorise about the same topics. Some even make the effort and take a further step to commercialise our chaos by exhibiting real time fights live on TV interrupted by nothing except minutes of advertisements that probably costs many more times than their peaceful-time counterpart. And it is not just the media who are aware of how reactional and instinctual we are. My email receives some of the most interesting pranks that are best described as a works of fiction. And yet, these somehow, find their ways to internet forums and newspaper articles and are authenticated and spoken of as the most dramatic conspiracies unleashed. A lot of us are brought up as consumers not only to material goods but to thoughts and nonsense theories as well.
