no man is an island

It is a fascination that thoughts of many different origins, some important, some trivial, some true, some false, some mockery, and some serious, travel rapidly and randomly in the vast landscape of our minds from one end to the other and not infrequently - meet, collide and fuse, and just as quick, split in new shapes that themselves travels vastly looking, searching, for the next collision.

Is this why systemic logical processing is, at occasions, defective? Are not instinctual decisions sometimes more convenient, and appropriate, than structured conclusions? Are we intrinsically compatible with the structured rules we built around us? Might there be other ways, not yet explored by conventional habitu?s?

“I called them not to witness the creation of heavens and the earth, nor their own creation: nor is it for me to make as helpers such as lead astray”, Quran (18-51)

This website is no doubt going into my resource box, and maybe yours. My personal favourit quote for the day is: “All mankind is of one author, and is one volume; when one man dies, one chapter is not torn out of the book, but translated into a better language; and every chapter must be so translated…As therefore the bell that rings to a sermon, calls not upon the preacher only, but upon the congregation to come: so this bell calls us all: but how much more me, who am brought so near the door by this sickness….No man is an island, entire of itself…any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.” John Donne (1572-1631).

This piece of flash work, is just amazing. I am fascinated by the way they did it.

Damirage, I did not mean to respond in a negative way. I seriously do not know what to title my reflections in this journal. Phylosophy, Romance, Curious thoughts, Random Snapshots changing logic, or utter nonsense. :p

human behaviour can not be defined in one definition, the anthropology is misuderstood most of the time, one understand himself and expect it to be obvious. is it? i could never tell =/
